Success is to go forward in life. It means to succeed with or without anyone’s help. Some say that success is time dependent. Some say that success is only in some people's luck. People try to achieve success by pulling other people down.
What is the exact meaning of success? Is it to earn more money in whatever work or field you are in or is it to get appreciation for the work you have done. This still remains a question without any answer.
There is a saying that behind every man's success there is a woman. Success can be achieved by any means, like in education, dance, singing, writing, painting, publishing and many more ways.
Along with success there comes another term into consideration and that if failure. Even the most successful person can go through a failure in his life. To achieve something you always have to loose something. That something can be anything like respect, money. Failure is a part of life which teaches you how to grow. It has a positive and negative side of life.
Some people take it as a challenge in life while some others take it as a downfall in life and never try to come up in their life. The people who take it as a challenge may face many problems but those who overcome these problems only are called successful people.
Benjamin Franklin has said that there are no gains without pains. This means that you can’t gain anything without sacrificing anything. Take an example: A student always stands first in his class. He only memorizes his lessons without understanding the subject and gives his exams. Another student only manages to pass in his exams but has understood and gained knowledge and meaning of the subject he studied. Which student is more successful ?
This question is still left unanswered. Finally I would conclude with a saying of Albert Schweitzer that Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful. This has been my success mantra of life which not only makes me satisfied in my work but also makes me love my work.
